SaudiPreneur programme celebrates the graduation of first batch
- The first patch of the Saudipruneur programme has graduated, where 50 entrepreneurs competing and eight projects made it to the finals.

Last week, Riyadh witnessed the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the "Saudipruneur" programme, which aims to graduate a new generation of Saudi entrepreneurs. This programme is the result of a collaboration between EYouth and VMS Startup Studio, and it aims to discover Saudi talents in the entrepreneurial world, train Saudi youth on the skills and principles of entrepreneurship, and provide them with the resources needed to build their startups in the future.
Participants benefited from more than 33 intensive training hours, including workshops and mentoring sessions supervised by industry experts. EYouth, a leading company in youth education and training in the Middle East, provided a high-quality training curriculum that combines practical application with modern theories in entrepreneurship.
Over 460 young men and women applied for the programme, but only 50 were selected. Participants worked in groups to develop project ideas that contribute to advancing the Saudi economy, successfully presenting 27 project ideas, with 8 ideas making it to the finals.
VMS Startup Studio showed continuous support for Saudi youth by offering valuable prizes for
the successful projects. During the graduation ceremony, three groups won the Best Three Projects Award. The "Tahyaa" team won first place with their idea for a startup to build an Smart platform to assess youth skills, identify suitable career paths, and provide practical training using AI technology. The team consists of Fatima Saeed Al-Mulla, Abdullah Omar Belsharf, and Ahmed Al-Fahad. The team will benefit from a full-year incubation journey provided by VMS Startup Studio, which includes workspace, financial and strategic consultations for entering the Saudi market, and many other exclusive benefits.
The "Adalah" team won second place with their idea to create a leading company in AI-based chat solutions specializing in Saudi law. The team consists of Abdulrahman Al-Mutlaq and Mohammed Al-Huqail, who will benefit from a six-month incubation journey.
The third-place team, "Dietitian Journey," offers a specialized platform in therapeutic nutrition targeting professionals in this field to improve their skills and knowledge. The team consists of Atheer Mahmas Al-Dosari, Renad Khalid Bin Kulaib, Rowaid Jaber Al-Tabairi, Al-Jouri Al-Mahjoub, and Al-Jawhara Al-Mahjoub, and they will benefit from a three-month incubation with VMS Startup Studio.
At the end of the ceremony, Abdullah Al-Shamrani, General Manager of the Digital Entrepreneurship Center at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Saudi Arabia, expressed his happiness to partner with King Saud University in Riyadh to host the "Saudipruneur" programme, and emphasized the importance of supporting and empowering entrepreneurs to build their startups: "Through this programme, the center aims to support entrepreneurs to take their first steps so that their startups can hopefully become billion-dollar, pioneering companies in the future." The center reaffirmed its commitment to supporting entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia and providing all necessary facilities to contribute to the Kingdom's GDP.
Motaz Abuonq, the founder and CEO of VMS Startup Studio, expressed his happiness with the graduation of the first batch of the "Saudipruneur" programme and confirmed his continuous support for Saudi entrepreneurs: "Over the past three months, we have witnessed creativity and perseverance from these youth, which prompted us to increase the number of awards from one to three. The three winners will receive incubation in the VMS Studio, helping them enter the market and turn their ideas into successful global Saudi companies."
