Saudi telecom company Mobily has launched its 2016 App hackathon, a weekend competition which aims to innovate Arabic applications in the smart device industry. Organized in partnership with the Youth Elite Program, the competition welcomes Saudi developers, programmers, designers and entrepreneurs. It will take place between Thursday 21 March and Saturday April the 2nd at The Mobily Lounge in Riyadh, KSA.  

The winning team will receive a trip to Silicon Valley for one week. The trip will include a number of visits to international companies and a number of workshops by experienced mentors.

Many innovative ideas and challenges in this field will be introduced, and app developers will have the opportunity to make contacts with experts and specialists who have already contributed to this industry and launched successful applications in the region.
