Go, also known as #golang, is an open source project developed by a Google team and many contributors from the open source community. Go makes it easy to build simple, reliable, and efficient software. 

Gophercon Dubai 2016 will take place in the Almas Conference Center in the DMCC freezone of Dubai on February 23 and will feature a range of international speakers, such as Sau Sheong Chang, Director of Global Commerce Engineering for Paypal, founder of Meta42 Mark Bates and Platform and Infrastructure Engineer Piyush Verma. The conference is an initiative brought to you by SquareCircle Tech, a tech ecosystem development company working to bridge the Code-to-customer gap in the MEA region, the Emerging Technology Trust (ETT). ETT is a nonprofit organization, established to organize and conduct technology conferences in India. 

With the support of their Strategic Innovation Partner (DMCC), GopherCon Dubai 2016 Go Edition aims to build a successful platform for Go and open source developers in the UAE and ME region.
