Open Hands Initiative’s Fellowship for Young Women Entrepreneurs
The Open Hands Initiative is launching the Fellowship for Young Women Entrepreneurs. This fellowship will bring together 10 american and 10 Jordanian startup founders and entrepreneurs for seven days.
The fellowship will take place from October 16-24, 2015, In Amman, Jordan. The deadline for application ends on July 15, 2015.
The Open Hands Initiative is an NGO dedicated to improving relations between cultures around the world by appealing to commonour basic shared values and common humanity.
This comprehensive business training program will cover all travel and accommodations for the entrepreneurs. In addition, four grants of $25,000 each will be awarded to the top four entrepreneurs (two U.S., two Jordanian) deemed most ready to accelerate their business plans.
Topics to be covered during the educational program include critical technical know-how for business founders, such as analyzing your company’s financials, negotiating its valuation, and pitching to investors.
Soft skills will also be addressed, like how to build confidence and be an inspirational and effective leader.
The program will culminate in all participants pitching their company before a panel of investors and judges to vie for the four $25,000 grants.
