Press release:

Sira, a MENA-first, innovative membership-based professional community dedicated to fostering authentic connection and holistic growth, is thrilled to announce a remarkable achievement: its 90 members have collectively generated $3.2 million in value within its first two years of operation.

Our Mission and Vision at the Core

Founded by two former Endeavor associates, one with a speciality in communications and events and the other in entrepreneur selection and growth, Sira was born from witnessing the transformative power of connection in the business world. This experience inspired the vision to democratise this power, leading to the creation of Sira, a membership-based community for professionals who share similar values to connect authentically and grow professionally and personally, currently operating in Jordan and the UAE.

Their members' success in creating substantial economic value underscores the strength of Sira Community's unique model. By focussing on shared values and genuine connections, Sira has demonstrated that aligning mission and vision leads not only to personal and professional growth but also to tangible financial outcomes.

“By definition, networks are exclusionary and unfortunately, today’s networks exclude mainly based on perceived social value. We decided to build a different community, where we exclude based on our value system,” said Ayah B. Saeed, Co-Founder of Sira. “Many people think you have to choose between making money and being values-driven. Our members' success in creating substantial economic value proves an important point: you can be profitable whilst being true to your values.”

Redefining Networking with a Value-First Approach

Unlike traditional networks that prioritise titles, money raised, or career stages, Sira focusses on shared values as the cornerstone of membership.

“Most networks look at an applicant’s experience, title, and where they are in their career. Our application process completely deletes all of that information; instead, we evaluate potential members based on their commitment to collaboration, growth, transparency, inclusion, and respect.  Our unique application process reflects our commitment to our values. We focus on who the person is rather than what they do. We, then, share anonymous, de-identified applications with our existing members to review and vote on. We strived for a more democratic and inclusive way to build a community.” said Zara Najjar, Co-Founder of Sira.

“Sira helped me explore and initiate business development opportunities in new sectors and build valuable partnerships with many members and beyond in different models. The exposure to a diverse values-based professional community within Sira created a great environment for me as a business owner and provided me with a strategic network and access to diverse expertise essential for the business.” Sira Member, Maher Nammari, Founder & CEO at Masar.

Exclusive Benefits and Opportunities for Members

Members of the Sira Community enjoy access to a private communication space where they can connect with like-minded professionals. They offer monthly events centred around professional and personal development, building meaningful connections, and inspirational talks from leaders like Dr. Geoff Smart. These curated events are instrumental in fostering the environment that led to the $3.2 million value creation.

But at the heart of Sira is their commitment to creating mediums for authentic connection. The way they initiate conversations both online and offline and their approach to curating events all lead to genuine interactions, meaningful engagement, and authentic connection. They go beyond superficial exchanges by dropping the facade, encouraging vulnerability, and creating spaces for their members to share their true selves, they facilitate deeper bonds and more impactful collaborations.
