oktopi acquires UK edtech Tutor House
- UAE-based edtech oktopi, has fully acquired UK-based tutoring platform Tutor House.
- Founded in 2021 by Emilie Thomas and Fadi Abbas, oktopi offers a platform to institutions and educators to create online courses.
- Tutor House was founded in 2012 by Alex Dyer and boasts 20,000 tutors on its platform. The acquisition is intended to fuel oktopi’s expansion and operations in Europe and the Mena region.

oktopi Edutech Ltd, owner of the oktopi workspace solution for education, announced its full acquisition of Tutor House, a leading UK-based tutoring platform. The move accelerates oktopi’s presence and operations in Europe and Mena, and positively contributes to the advancement of digital learning and education.

Through this acquisition, oktopi will gain access to the services of a 20,000-strong cohort of tutors.
