The report examines why U.S. demand for engineering graduates is outstripping its demand, and which firms are hiring the most foreign engineers to compensate. While H-1B visas may be hard to come by, it's clear that for those that receive one, it's both easier to find an engineering job than it is to be employed in other sectors, and it's also more lucrative, with salaries 23 percent higher than the average job posting salary.
