Roofy, the founder of www.withlovefrom.me, talks to Wamda about her idea, which she pitched at the recent Global Innovation through Technology and Science competition at the Second Global Entrepreneurship Summit. She aims to create an online flower delivery platform in Egypt, that will, she says, help strengthen the bonds between Egyptian families and help connect people over long distances, at cheap prices. She plans to source flowers from local providers and take a small commission. She's not worried about launching an e-commerce platform, she says, as more and more consumers in Egypt are trusting online purchases in the wake of the revolution.
